After the pleasant surprise of Everton fans remaining in their seats three weeks ago, our visitors from White Hart Lane remained firmly vertical for this London derby. Spurs even brought their own stewards with them, though as far as I could see it seems a very cushy job, as the two that were assigned to my vomitory just checked a few tickets until kick off, before focusing on watching the game once the referee blew his whistle to get things underway, leaving me to cope on my own though, luckily, there were no major problems.
The game was quite an entertaining encounter, though Fulham felt very hard done by with Tottenham’s winning goal, as they claimed William Gallas was standing in an offside position when Tom Huddlestone struck from outside the area.
After the game, as I was walking back to the Bridge Academy to sign out, Jamie Redknapp walked past us towards Craven Cottage, presumably to join his former White Hart Lane team-mates in the bar or on the team bus.
